The Opportunity
The Florida Department of Children and Families (the “Department”) is seeking ideas and information from vendors relating to ways the Department can improve its service delivery to Florida’s citizens in partnership with vendors who possess technology expertise in service delivery in the health and human services areas. The Department intends to review all information provided by vendors and to establish a dialogue with vendors who appear to offer the greatest opportunities to create future solutions that enhance our citizens experience with the Department and the State. These dialogues should provide needed external insights addressing the needs and challenges faced by the Department.
The Department is not seeking detailed proposals for specific solutions and pricing for immediate procurement. Instead, the Department intends to establish an ongoing dialogue with vendors who can assist in envisioning a future environment and can provide best practices and technologies that the State can employ to achieve the future environment.

Companies and organizations that provide technologies to improve services such as (but not limited to): Artificial Intelligence (AI), Analytics and Reporting, Cloud Management, Contacts/Communications Center, Data Management, Enterprise Content Management, Exchanges, Development & Operations Platforms and Portals, Fraud Detection, Internet of Things (IoT), Legal Case Management, Portals, Mobility and Wireless Technologies, Security & Infrastructure, Training /Education, Video, Audio, Text, Imaging and Recording, Virtual Technologies.
